Everyone dreams to stand at the pinnacle and announce the world that they’ve finally done it. You work vigorously no matter if its the day or night, you go through ups and downs and in few cases, they might not achieve what they want. Yet, one fine day everyone has to bid adieu to their profession, which quite certainly is the toughest thing to do.

Scottish International Mommsen came into limelight with impressive performances in the World Cup qualifiers in 2014 and helped his side win the Qualifying tournament. He briefly led the Scotland side as well.

In 42 ODIs for Scotland, he scored 1,101 runs which also includes two centuries. Mommsen hung his boots up at a relatively younger age(29 years) as he had some great opportunities to get settled in the corporate sector.
