8) Ramnaresh Sarwan (West Indies):

Sarwan International career lasted almost 13 years and for a major part of his career, he was a regular for the West Indies side. He briefly led the side as well after Brian Lara quit cricket in 2007. Yet, a horror run of form in 2013 lost him his place in the side and subsequently he retired in 2016.

Sarwan was one of the most dependable and elegant batsman in the West Indian ranks. In 87 Tests for West Indies, he amassed 5,842 runs at an average of 40.01 and in 181 ODIs, he piled up 5,804 runs at a more than impressive average of 42.67.
