It must be the greatest and perhaps the most inspiring story in Indian cricket when the struggles turn to a huge hit of cricketer’s life which in turn changes the ultimate complexion of the sportsman’s career in what appeared to be an epitome of impetus.

Have you heard about Thagarasu Natarajan? Well, some of you may not be familiar with this name but during the hottest auction pool of IPL 2017, Natarajan came into limelight when the left-arm seamer was bought for a whopping 3 crores by Kings XI franchise.

Hailing from Chinnappampatti, which is 36 km away from the outskirts of Salem in Tamilnadu, life was not that easy for Thagarasu Natarajan who didn’t have the chance to breathe a sigh of relief until he accomplishes his dreams!

Talking about his family background, his father works as a regular wage employee in a saree manufacturing sector whereas his mother offers the snacks for sale at the edge of the road.

Having understood the situation of life, Thagarasu Natarajan enhanced his work-rate given the responsibility on him was at its peak! On speaking to The Hindu, Natarajan added saying that “There was a little money as the eldest of five siblings, I have a brother and three sisters, there was a lot of responsibility on me,” Natarajan added.

The 25-year-old Thagarasu Natarajan made his first-class debut for Tamil Nadu state in the 2014-15 Ranji Trophy on January 5, 2015, and also made a debut in the T20 circuit when he featured in the newly introduced Inter-zone domestic T20 league on January 29, 2017.

Natarajan’s life as a cricketer escalated quite well where his career has transpired when his name became a hit in the cash-rich Premier League auction pool!
