India Masters took on Sri Lanka Masters today in the International Masters League T20 2025. The match took place at the D.Y Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai and featured a number of legends from both the countries. It was a pretty eventful match with some of the legends putting up sensational performances to entertain the fans.

Sri Lanka Masters won the toss and opted to bowl first. Suranga Lakmal got a number of early wickets as he dismissed both the India Masters openers, namely Sachin Tendulkar and Ambati Rayudu. The partnership of Gurkeerat Singh and Stuart Binny made things better for India as they controlled the innings. Gurkeerat scored 44 off 32 while Stuart Binny played a fiery knock of 68 off 31. He ended up being the highest scorer of the night. Had it not been for him, the India Masters innings might have ended way back.

Yuvraj Singh and Yusuf Pathan then came in to further add to the India Masters’ total. Yuvraj scored 31 off 22 while Yusuf Pathan scored half a ton (56 off 22). Stuart Binny scored 7 sixes and 3 fours, while Pathan scored 6 sixes and 3 fours. They took the India Masters’ total to a whopping 222 in 20 overs.
Coming in to chase, the Sri Lanka Masters looked like they were on a mission from the very get-go. While opener Upul Tharanga went back to the pavilion early, captain Kumar Sangakara played an important knock of 51 off 30 and gave them an important start. Asela Gunaratne and Jeevan Mendis also played well after his departure.
