Shikhar Dhawan has played a significant role in the ODI setup for almost ten years and was frequently the skipper’s go-to man when major competitions occurred. However, his problem with the strike rate was one of the main factors in his initial exclusion from the Indian T20I team. Even though he has been one of the IPL season’s most significant players, his strike rate is still a matter of concern. Thus, Dhawan may have already played his final game for the Men in Blue because it is almost certain that India will have the option to select Gill over him.
