Ricky Ponting reveals his all-time XI, Sangakkara to lead

Ricky Ponting, the all-time legendary player from Australia picked his all-time XI. As always, the former skipper of Australia brought a great balance to the sids with few interesting names attached to it. He filled the list with as many as 5 Australians and 3 Asian players.

The flashy stroke maker Mathew Hayden is the opener of Ricky Ponting’s all-time XI while another Aussie great Justin Langer is the partner to join Hayden at the openers’ slot. He asked Jacques Kallis to take the prestigious and the crucial number 3 place to bat for his side while the leading run-scorer in world cricket, Sachin Tendulkar set to bat at number 4.

Ricky Ponting asked Windies’ legendary player Brian Lara to join Sachin Tendulkar in the middle order while Kumar Sangakkara is another stalwart player to be included in the middle compartment. Islander was also asked to lead his side that filled with all the legendary players.



Coming to the wicketkeeper duties, Ricky Ponting asked the all-time great and stylish southpaw, Adam Gilchrist to done the gloves while the only Pakistani player to be able to make it to the playing XI, Wasim Akram will lead the Pace attack.

The Pakistani Pacer will be accompanied by the legendary Glenn McGrath and Windies stalwart player Curtly Ambrose to form the formkformi bowling attack. Adding an icing on the cake, he filled the spinner slot with Shane Warne who can deliver the goods whenever it is required.
