Kuldeep Yadav has overcome the massive hurdle in the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025 Final between India and New Zealand and picked up the big wicket of Rachin Ravindra. The Kiwi batter of Indian origin is hands down their most promising batting talent right now and they were highly dependent on him, especially on the occasion of the final. In fact, if there was one player who could cause a lot of trouble for India, it was Rachin Ravindra. Thus, taking his wicket was a big moment for the Blues.
The youngster had been off to a great start in the first innings and he was playing brilliantly against the Indian pacers, namely Mohammed Shami and Hardik Pandya. However, he started struggling when the spinners joined the attack. In fact, his catch was missed twice – once by Mohammed Shami (caught and bowled opportunity) and once by Shreyas Iyer on Varun Chakravarthy’s delivery.
And the most crucial wicket.

Even after getting two lifelines, Rachin Ravindra was not able to capitalize on them as Kuldeep Yadav dismissed him on his very first delivery. The kiwi batter totally misread the delivery and got clean bowled. He had been struggling against spinner from the very beginning and it ended up biting him back.

New Zealand have already lost four big wickets and it is now looking very difficult for them in the final. Team India are clearly at an advantageous position at this point and it looks like they will be winning the Champions Trophy without a struggle. New Zealand are predicted to put a total of around 230 if things go right for the Blues.
