WATCH: Shivam Dube hits 111M, 101M and 96M sixes against RCB- Maxwell’s reaction says it all!

Chennai Super Kings are currently taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. RCB won the toss and opted to bowl first. So far, CSK have done incredibly well in the first innings. They have already scored almost 140 runs in the first 14 overs of the match, and we expect to see a 220+ runs total.

Talking about the innings, Royal Challengers were quick to pick up the big wicket of Ruturaj Gaikwad very early on in the match. He departed after making 3 runs off 6 deliveries.

However, Devon Conway, Ajinkya Rahane and Shivam Dube took responsibility and played brilliantly for CSK. Devon Conway has already scored over 80 runs and is still going on. Ajinkya Rahane departed after scoring 37 runs in 20 balls.

However, it was Shivam Dube who has had the most interesting knock of them all so far in this innings. He has scored 40 runs in 21 deliveries. More importantly, he has hit a number of crazy sixes in his knock.

He firstly hit a 101M six against Glen Maxwell which went up very high. He then scored a sensational 111M six against Harshal Patel. Finally, he also scored a 96M biggie against Vijaykumar Vyshak.

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s bowling attack has been particularly poor this season so far. This match was yet another example where we got the perfect proof for that.

Harshal Patel, who used to be one of RCB’s main bowlers till last season, has been downright abysmal in IPL 2023 so far.

He has proven to be very uneconomical and it seems like captain Faf du Plessis might soon have to replace him in the playing XI. The problem is that RCB do not even have any good backup bowlers. The same old problem of RCB having a poor bowling attack, has thus returned.
