Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has had a rough couple of years lately. The 38-year-old with over 167 ODI appearances for the Indian National Cricket team announced his retirement from domestic and international cricket in August last year. According to reports, that had a lot to do with the emotional turmoil that the cricketer had to go through after his divorce from his estranged ex-wife Aesha Mukherjee.
Shikhar Dhawan and Aesha Mukherjee married in 2011 and announced their divorce in October 2023. The couple have a child together named Zorawar, while Aesha Mukherjee also has two daughters from her previous marriage.
According to the Delhi High Court’s verdict, Shikhar Dhawan had endured mental distress due to his ex-wife, who reportedly did not let him visit his son for years. Unfortunately, he was still not able to secure permanent custody of his son Zorawar.

However, things have started to look good for Shikhar Dhawan now. The former Indian cricketer was spotted with a lady during the Champions Trophy match between India and Bangladesh. It is being speculated that he is dating the foreign lady but it is all just that—speculation at this point and nothing can be known for sure unless there are further sightings of the couple or an announcement from either of them.
Talking about the lady that he was spotted with, her name is Sophie Shine and she is from Ireland. It is being said that she is a product consultant. She has 6330 followers on her Instagram but that number has been constantly growing since her sighting with Sikhar Dhawan. However, it needs to be noted that she has a private Instagram account. This is the only information that could be known about her till now.
