As everyone is desperate to know about the test, recently, Dinesh Karthik who made a comeback in the recent time’s terms that it is easily attainable by most of the sportsperson. But, surprisingly, few youngsters failed to reach it.

Surprisingly, Manish Pandey always comes out top in the Yo-Yo test by beating Virat Kohli. Meanwhile, the young uncapped player who is also the nephew of former India opener, Virender Sehwag, Mayank Dagar shattered the benchmark by registering 19.3. The classy youngster Manish Pandey did it in 19.2 while Virat Kohli maintains 19.0.
Uncapped Indian cricketer Mayank Dagar was the latest to pass the mandatory Yo-Yo test with a score of 19.3, even beating Virat Kohli’s score of 19. While the minimum requirement for passing the test is 16.1, Virat Kohli not only trailed Mayank Agarwal but also fell behind Manish Pandey, who scored 19.2.
Recently, Ambati Rayudu, Sanju Samson and Mohammed Shami were left out of their respective sides after failing the test. While Rayudu was to play for the Men in Blue in the ongoing ODI series vs England, Shami was selected for the India-Afghanistan only Test. The most recent one to pass out with flying colours is Sanju Samson.
However, the yo-yo test has become a brigade for the selection in the national team despite having a bulk of runs or wickets in the player’s tally. Rayudu who earned a place in Indian team with his hard work has been out due to fitness while Sanju Samson missed out India A cap.
