Hardik Pandya has by far been India’s dependent utility player who is raring to go at the opposition by wielding the bat with brute force and with intelligent bowling skills. Though his recent string of spells hasn’t been up to the scratch, he is still India’s most fructifying all-rounder who always wants to be ‘Jacques Kallis’ of India.

His big hitting traits are widely known. He is a favourite to many. In fact, he is the interesting sensation for the big tournaments to come. The route map sketched by the Indian team management is clear-cut and heading into the next major tournament with the right amount of balance to become the ‘invincibles’ is one of their long-term goals.

I seek a lot of advice from MSD: Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya is a quick learner. Ever since he wore the Indian jersey, he made every possible attempts to seek advice and crafty piece of information from the seniors. He said that he has learnt from both cricketing legends like MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli. “I have learned from both of them, they are amazing. I take a lot of advice from Dhoni,” Hardik said in a candid interview with News18 India.

Hardik Pandya reveals that he is a big fan of Wasim Jaffer. He said that he used to copy his style and technique. He is curious to meet him if he would get a chance to meet him some day. “I was always a fan. I used to copy him and I even told him that I am his fan, he replied that there is not much left of him. But yes I would like to meet him again if I get the opportunity,” Hardik continued.

On talking about Ravi Shastri, he said he gives him the freedom and much-needed confidence to go about the business. Hardik added that he gets along well with him. “He might be the coach, but he is the real rockstar. He is the cool dude. He gives me the freedom and the confidence at this level. We gel pretty well with him,” Hardik added.
