The young Indian side has been able to bounce back in the ongoing Nidahas trophy after losing their first match against Sri Lanka. The Men in Blue came back strong to win their next two games and now they will look to seal their final place by getting the better of Bangladesh.

The biggest positive thus far in the first three matches has been the improvement in the graph of young bowlers. The rookie brigade was not able to defend 174 in the first match but they have shown their skills to restrict the opposition to a sub-par total in the next two matches.

India would look to continue their impetus.

The form of skipper Rohit Sharma is still haunting the Indian team and it is time that he comes to the party. Finally, the Indian think-tank took a good decision to give a well-deserved chance to KL Rahul but the Karnataka’s batsman innings was cut short by an unfortunate dismissal of hit-wicket.

On the other hand, Bangladesh would have gained the much-needed boost after their win against Sri Lanka after their loss to India. It was a great effort from the Tigers to chase down 214 and Rahim’s experience was vital in getting them over the line.

India would not like to take any risks and they would know that the win against Bangladesh will confirm their final’s place. They won’t like to rely on other team’s results and net run rate to decide their fate in the remainder of the tournament.

Match Prediction: The Indian team would start as favourites and the contest is expected to be a run-fest. The team winning the toss is likely to bowl first.
