Kings XI Punjab unveils their jersey for the upcoming season

The Kings XI Punjab franchise has revealed their new jersey for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. The Punjab players will be seen playing while supporting the new jerseys. The Punjab franchise had earlier revealed that Ravichandran Ashwin will lead them in the 11th season of the league.

The Kings XI Punjab was able to bag players like Aaron Finch, Yuvraj Singh and Chris Gayle in the Indian Premier League Auctions and they had decided to retain their all-rounder Axar Patel. The Ravichandran Ashwin led team will begin their Indian Premier League campaign when they will lock horns with Delhi Daredevils on 8 April at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in the capital of the country.

Kings XI Punjab will hope for a better season with their new jerseys.

The Kings XI Punjab was also able to retain players like Marcus Stoinis and David Miller when they made use of the Right of Match cards to get them back on board. The Punjab side will have experience of the likes of Yuvraj Singh, Chris Gayle, Aaron Finch which will be amalgamated with the youth of KL Rahul and Axar Patel.

KL Rahul was brought by Kings XI Punjab for a whopping INR 11 crores and the Karnataka batsman is also expected to fill in the shoes of the wicketkeeper for the franchise. The young Uttar Pradesh gloveman Akshdeep Nath is the other alternative for the wicketkeeping duties of the franchise.

The Punjab franchise is yet to savour success in the ten seasons of the Indian Premier League and they would like to turn the tables. They have only made it to the finals once when they finished as the runners-up in the 2014 edition where they were beaten by the Kolkata Knight Riders.
