India’s opening batsman KL Rahul turns 25 today as he is celebrating his birthday. Injuries are the real nightmares for athletes keeping them out of contention unless and until they are fit as a fiddle. KL Rahul injured his left shoulder in the course of India’s opening Test match against Australia on the outskirts of Pune in the late February of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Despite that shoulder injury that kept irritating him, he took the risk to play the next match on his home turf M Chinnaswamy Stadium and struck a valiant 90 and 51 to his respective innings and earned the Man of the match for helping India level the series at 1-1.
Then, KL Rahul confessed the fact that excessive risks obstructed him to play few cricketing strokes and so he decided to undergo a surgery before the injury gets worse. This is the reason why he is not part of the Royal Challengers squad to feature in the Vivo IPL 10.
Just a couple of days ago, KL Rahul arrived India after undergoing a surgery in London and also marked his presence to watch his team’s match against Rising Pune Supergiant late Sunday at the Chinnaswamy Stadium but unfortunately, Royal Challengers lost the game.
Former Indian iconic Master Blaster took to Twitter feed to wish KL Rahul on his 25th birthday and also wished him a quick recovery for the welfare of him and for the Indian cricket team. “Wishing you a very happy birthday and a speedy recovery @klrahul11”
