Karachi can get the thumbs up for hosting the final of the Pakistan Super League T20 league. Security experts Reg Dickason and Richard Dennis have gone through the process of investigation of security and they are expected to come up with a verdict in a week time.

This is going to be the third season of the Pakistan Super League as the tournament would be kick-started in the UAE from February 22. The tournament will shift its base to Pakistan for the later stages of two-playoffs and the final. The playoffs are scheduled to be held on March 20-21 and the final is going to be played on 25 March.

Security issues in Pakistan.

The security experts have inspected the venue and they all look pleased with the arrangements. They were also accompanied by Pakistan security and government officials on the venue.

“Whatever we have witnessed today, it’s as good as I have seen in all my years of work but I can’t say a final word (on hosting the final) now and will submit my report within the next seven days,” Dickason told media in Karachi.

The Pakistan team are playing all their matches in the UAE and they are also hosting the major part of the Pakistan Super League in the same country. A lot of major world class players play in the Pakistan T20 league and the officials have to make sure that all the security is in place.

The final of the previous season was hosted by Lahore and this time Karachi looks to get the green signal for staging the final of the league. Some players had backed out in the previous season and Pakistan Cricket Board will like to make sure that they get the security in place.
