Pakistan, the country who took the legacy of delivering world-class bowlers time and again are going to lose one of it’s best bowlers as Saeed Ajmal decided to hang up his boots post the conclusion of the ongoing National T20 Cup. He added that it is his final decision and won’t be any changes in the future as well.

Saeed Ajmal used to be the spearhead of Pakistan’s bowling department but failed to carry on with the same momentum since he remodelled his action after being tested for chucking. Within a period of time, Yasir Shah took the place of him and carried Saeed Ajmal’s intimidation in his own way.

He was asked to feature for Pakistan with his remodelled action for a couple of tours where he failed badly thus lost the place in the side. Saeed Ajmal passed comments on the respective board which avoided him from donning the Pakistan Jersey once again but he lead his state, Faisalabad in the domestic tournaments.

”This national event is my last tournament and I don’t want to be a burden on any team. The last phase was frustrating. But before anyone can raise a finger against my selection in domestic matches, I want to leave and that’s my final decision,” Saeed Ajmal quoted as per Wisden India.

Success Days:

Saeed Ajmal had a tremendous Test series when he single-handedly bundled out England Test team in the Test series at the neutral venue, the UAE. He rattled as many as 24 wickets to handle the series victory against England who was at the number 1 position in the ICC Team rankings.

However, Saeed Ajmal stamped his authority in the heart of the true cricket fans with his lethal bowling display. It is very unfortunate to lose his charm after remodelling his action.
