Ravi Shastri is not only the strong and muscular man in the Indian cricket but also has the guts to speak it out loud whenever it is necessary. Recently, he termed people as jealous who are asking MS Dhoni to retire from the shortest format of the game and now extended his support in a recent interview.
The head coach of India, Ravi Shastri accompanied by friend and bowling coach, Bharat Arun visited a museum named Fanattic Sports Museum that was organised and set up by sports historian Boria Majumdar. He said that people should look at their career before making a comment on MS Dhoni.
There is no one better than MS Dhoni on the field: Ravi Shastri
Ravi Shastri not only lashed out at the people who criticised MS Dhoni but also explained what MS Dhoni brings to the table when India take on the certain opposition in any level. He further applauded India for their brilliant athletism on the field in terms of catch and ground fielding.
“People should look back at their career before commenting on Dhoni. The captain has a lot of cricket left in him and it is the duty of the team to back the legend. There is no one better than Dhoni on the field given his ability behind the wicket and with the bat and his presence of mind and sharpness on the field,” Ravi Shastri quoted as per LiveMint.
“In terms of fielding this team is the very best in the world at the moment and that’s something that separates this team from Indian teams of the past,” Shastri added while speaking on fielding.
Apart from it, both Ravi Shastri and Bharat Arun enjoyed their time in the gallery. The museum consists of many former players accessaries with the autographs and also the bat of Don Bradman. It also consists of 2011 World Cup winning Team India’s signatures on the bat as well.
