”We should respect the flags of other nations,” says Shahid Afridi

The presence of the legendary players made the innovating Ice Cricket idea a grand success and the fans across the world visited the stadiums to watch their favourite stars in action. In one of those moments, Shahid Afridi, the heartthrob of many cricket followers had a quick interaction with the fans where one incident caught the limelight instantly.

During the course of giving the selfies and autographs to his fans, an Indian lady was seen asking for a photograph with the legendary person. But, she looked in an uncomfortable state as she is from India and was unsure whether to keep the Indian flag in the picture or not.

However, the ever-gentleman, Shahid Afridi asked her to catch the flag correctly which caught the eyeballs of everyone in the surrounding and the video instantly went viral on the media channels. He continued the session for quite a time before leaving the place.

Speaking on the same, Shahid Afridi said that ”We should respect the flags of other nations and that’s why I asked them to hold their flag in a proper way.” He furtherly added that he wants the people to get a decent picture as well. “I also wanted them to have a better picture.”

“The cricketers of both the nations want to play for the betterment of relations between the countries. We are ambassadors of peace and want to spread love and peace around the world. We all are good friends and had a great time playing Cricket on Ice,” he added as per Pakpassion.net.

However, Shahid Afridi enjoyed his time quite blissfully in the city. The experience of playing on the ice is something which would remain with Shahid Afridi for quite a time. As a lot of Pakistani fans present during the contest, they enjoyed by yelling their favourite, Afridi throughout the tourney.
