It seems like Cricket Australia are making sincere efforts to reduce the gap that surrounded them and players during the dispute on payment mode, However, the compromise has done between them and the latest development of picking two squads will certainly yield results for the growth of Australian cricket.
In order to get the clear idea of the team, Cricket Australia announced two teams lead by Steven Smith and David Warner. As a part of the preparation for the Bangladesh series, they named two teams with as many as 8 fresh faces to be featured. The only person to miss the game would be Mitchell Starc.
The match is scheduled to play between Steven Smith XI and David Warner XI at Darwin and the duration of the contest will be for 3 day period. Steven Smith’s XI includes the likes of Matt Renshaw, Usman Khawaja, Glenn Maxwell and Hazlewood.
The team of David Warner was equally composed with the likes of Peter Handscomb, Travis Head, Cummings and Richardson. Interestingly, Cricket Australia shared two antique pieces Adam Zampa and Swepson on each team who can offer a lot to the Cricket Australia in near future.
Australia are set to tour Bangladesh for Test series followed by the ODI series against India in October. They will play their first at Dhaka against Bangladesh on August 27th and the second Test on September 4th.
