Lethal Bowling attacks: Sachin Tendulkar’s era was the era where the game was dominated by lethal bowlers who were unplayable. Sachin had to face the legendary bowling attacks which included the likes of Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Glenn McGrath, Allan Donald, Jason Gillespie, Shane Warne, Muttiah Muralitharan, Courtney Walsh, Curtly Ambrose, Darren Gough, Chaminda Vaas and many others.
The modern day cricket hardly has such firing breed of bowlers, let it be pace or spin. The modern day cricket has turned into a batsmen friendly game.
First Virat, not Second Sachin: Virat Kohli is absolutely a wonderful batsman and is undoubtedly the beast batsman from the current Indian team. The way he tackles the situations and win matches highhandedly is simply amazing and wonderful to watch.
His flamboyant batting and classy strokes make him one of the best batsman of the era. His consistent performance has impressed each and everyone and is considered as a legend. Comparing Kohli to Sachin may not be the correct thing to do as batsmen from two different eras should not be compared.
The batsmen should change owing to the changing conditions and bowlers. So it should be remembered that he is cricketing world’s first Kohli but not second Sachin. It is not fair to compare him to Sachin Tendulkar.
