Some kind of overwhelming joy and happiness beckons on the outskirts of Indian circle as the T20I cricket returns to keep the fans engaged at the best scene. So much to talk about the smashers and so much to lend the chorus support in a slick runfest that is bound to witness a string of high-flying sixers, flashy drives, epic moments.and so on.

Moreover, the game is going to be played under the moon but that means Australia are already in the twilight of their scrutinising career given their recent performances in the ODI series. It’s just about getting into the scheme of things with some blend of rhythm in the shortest format. The action triggers in MS Dhoni’s hometown, Ranchi and one can expect Dhoni to be the architect of the coin.

So far, so good for India. They have ticked boxes in Tests as well as in ODI’s as No.1 ranked side. Now, it’s all about making an incisive statement with respect to the shortest format. Men in Blue are ranked 5th in ICC T20I rankings chart whereas the Men in Yellow are ranked 7th respectively.

There were more than enough symptoms to bother one and please the other team so far. Australia are on the receiving end with just a win ever since stepping here. With Steven Smith ruled out of T20I series owing to shoulder injury, Marcus Stoinis get the nod to cover Smith’s spot. David Warner & Co should take a leaf out of their books and start going to pose a threat to the Indians.

Responding straightaway is the only way to salvage pride against the Indians. Can the Men in Blue look to make most of the festive fervour again or is it going to be the same old story for the Aussies to skittle out at the hands of the mighty Indians.
