David Miller who is famously known as killer-Miller struck one heck of the knocks against Bangladesh to register fastest-ever tonne in T20I. Adding a spice to it, he knocked 5 sixes in an over in the penultimate over of the match making the things even worse for the visitors, Bangladesh.

He registered as many as 9 sixes and 7 fours in his brutal knock which itself yielded 82 runs in his 101-run knock. David Miller completed his century in 35 balls overtaking the fellow South African Richard Levi who held the fastest century record by scoring it in just 45 deliveries.

Speaking of the knock, David Miller said in the post-inning presentation is that ”It was a special feeling. I just tried to watch the ball and back myself. It was scratchy at the start of my innings, towards the end it was sweet. Anything over 200 is what we thought. It is a good wicket here in Potch.”

Coming to the match, Hashim Amla gave a blistering start for the home side by knocking 85 runs. Though Amla got going at one end, Bangladesh bowlers restricted Proteas batsmen by bowling dot deliveries at regular intervals but the onslaught by David Miller completely changed the match scenario as his blitz helped the home side to finish at 224 on the board.

As soon as Miller struck the blistering century, people took to Twitter to applaud the effort. Here are the best tweets:
