South Africa rose from the ashes to give a massive beating to the Indians as they won by 6 wickets, a classic rebound that the team and their fans wanted to witness at Centurion. The high-scoring encounter had all but two teams fight out for a result and eventually the best team extracted a good result.

Smiles were restored in SA’s dressing room after they achieved series parity 1-1. The job is still left to be done. With one more match to decide the winner of the series, the equation sounds a little too interesting. India could garner a massive 188/4 in their full quota of overs and they had to defend well to seal the series but it just wasn’t their day to be honest.

The hosts had to bat very well to mount pressure straightaway on the Indians. Once again, Heinrich Klaasen caused a nightmare to the Indians but this time in T20Is to score a 30-ball 69 run knock. With as many as 7 sixes and 3 fours to his pocket, he was named the man of the match. Indian bowlers clearly looked clueless asย they found the going a tad cryptic.

Not to forget the fact that JP Duminy’s batting masterclass came to the fore this night. He looked prime from the word go. His deft touches were classy and so were his shot selections. For his excellence, he brimmed with confidence and pitched in with 40-ball 64 with 4 fours and 3 sixes to pull off the ropes in style.
