The ban on Ravindra Jadeja! Isn’t it look odd to read? But, it is as International Cricket Council is not compromising even one percent on player’s conduct. Just a couple of weeks ago, it was Rabada who was handed one-match ban for aggressive send-off while the world number one ranked bowler, Jadeja is the latest scapegoat for showing aggression on the field.
Ravindra Jadeja was found guilty to breach article 2.2.8 of the player’s code of conduct of ICC which states that “throwing a ball (or any other item of cricket equipment) at or near a Player, Player Support Personnel, Umpire, Match Referee or any other third person in an inappropriate and/or dangerous manner during an International Match”.
However, it is understood that Ravindra Jadeja agreed to the terms imposed on him by the on-field umpires Bruce Oxenford and Rod Tucker. It is further learnt that if he breaks the code of conduct in next couple of years, he might face a serious ban by ICC.
Jadeja was adjudged as man of the match for his exceptional performance in the second Test against Sri Lanka at Colombo. He amassed an unbeaten 70* including 7 wickets to his name. He was awarded 4th man of the match award in last one year which is the most by any other in World Cricket.
As ICC imposed a ban on Ravindra Jadeja, Twitterati expressed their shock in a hilarious way while few supported the honourable council. Here are the best tweets:

I am puzzled by the Jadeja ban. It didn't seem dangerous to me. Seems harsh
