Washington Sundar, the wonder kid from Chennai is accelerating his fame day-by-day by doing the unbelievable things on the cricket field. He knocked a fantabulous fifty off just 15 balls and earned the appreciations all over the nation for his record tumbling knock.

In the qualifier-1 match between TUTI Patriots versus Chepauk Super Gillies, Satish led Chepauk won the toss and opted to bat first but the batsman proved the skipper’s decision wrong as they handed wickets like rice packets during the flood times. The fight back from Antony Dhas shouldered team to post a respectable tally of 114 runs on the board.

After picking 2 wickets for just 5 runs in 3 overs, Washington Sundar knocked stupendous strokes in chasing the target. He caressed 22 runs off the first over and followed it by the same number of runs in the 3rd over bowled by Yo Mahesh and Kumaran respectively.

He scored 3 sixes and six fours to help himself registering fastest ever fifty in Tamil Nadu Premier League. He scored fifty in just 15 balls and remained unbeaten at the end of the first innings with an overall tally of 73* runs in just 36 balls.

The 17-year old kid, Washington Sundar, yes, you read it right, he is seventeen years old and outsmarting everyone with his unique talent. He is impressive with the ball and been a revelation in TNPL at top order batting. He already made his IPL debut and will be a top pick on the cards for next year IPL auctions.
