New Zealand and Bangladesh are currently facing each other in the 6th ODI of the ongoing Champions Trophy at the Rawalpindi Stadium. New Zealand won the toss and opted to bowl first and they have been dominating the Bangla Tigers with the ball.
Although Bangladesh were off to a great start, thanks to the openers Tanzid Hasan and Najmul Hossain Shanto. Tanzid Hasan scored 24 runs in 24 deliveries while Shanto scored 77 runs in 110 deliveries. However, after their dismissal, the tables turned massively in favour of the Kiwis.
Peak Kiwi athleticism! 🖤

Wickets started falling one after the other, one the two openers were gone and New Zealand have Michael Bracewell to thank for that. What a match the right arm off-break bowler had! He picked up four wickets in his ten overs and was hands down the star of the first innings. He picked up all important wickets and gave the kiwis a massive advantage.
Particularly, Towhid Hridoy’s wicket was a big one. He had scored a ton against India in the previous one and could be a big threat for New Zealand. Thankfully, he was neutralised by Michael Bracewell, courtesy of a superb catch by Kane Williamson. It was unarguably the second best catch of the tournament so far after Alex Carey’s catch in the Australia vs England match.
