VIDEO: Axar Patel’s FIREBOLT Direct hit dismisses Imam-Ul-Haq

Axar Patel runs out Imam-ul-haq: It’s going all wrong for Pakistan in their clash against India in the 2025 Champions Trophy and the Indians are rejoining. The hosts have lost two quick wickets in the match and they seem to be in grave trouble now as Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel are virtually the only two batters remaining that they can depend on to score a big total. If they lose both these wickets, the Indian fans can start celebrating their victory already unless someone else from the Pak contingent pulls off a miracle.

First it was former captain Babar Azam who walked back to the pavilion after a massive edge on Hardik Pandya’s second delivery in the 9th over. It was a shame, as he was playing brilliantly until that point and had already hit 5 boundaries. In fact, he had hit a four right before being dismissed by the Indian medium pacer.

Pakistan almost lost the wicket Saud Shakeel on the very next delivery after he nicked it behind to KL Rahul. The Indian wicketkeeper, unfortunately, was not able to catch it as the ball did not carry to him well.

In the next over, Rohit Sharma sent in Kuldeep Yadav and Pakistan lost another big wicket, again on the second delivery. Opener Imam-ul-Haq looked for a quick single but Axar Patel had other plans. His quick, direct hit dismissed Imam and he was way off the crease when Axar hit the stumps. Thus, Pakistan lost two of their very important batters in back-to-back overs.

As it now stands, Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel have held the reins of Pakistan’s innings, and if they are to put up a defendable total, this partnership needs to stand. As far as India in concerned, their primary goal now will be to break just that.
